The 8th ICHSU 2026 International Conference will be grandly held from August 11 to 13,2026, at the Country Garden Phoenix Hotel in Yuhong, Shenyang, China. As a highly influential international event in the field of thermal forming, this conference builds upon the fine traditions and achievements of the previous seven editions. It closely aligns with the trends of industrial green transformation under the "dual carbon" goals, centers on scientific pathways for energy conservation and carbon reduction, focuses on cutting-edge industry topics and practical challenges, and establishes a high-end platform for in-depth exchange, experience sharing, and collaborative innovation in the global thermal forming sector.

The conference will focus on in-depth discussions around core topics including high-performance hot stamping materials and process innovations, breakthroughs in advanced high-strength steel cold stamping technology, industrial applications of multi-material forming, upgrades to multi-component integrated hot stamping technologies, laser processing enabling advanced forming manufacturing, engineering implementation of stamping simulation technologies, and the widespread adoption of lightweight upgrade solutions for commercial vehicles. I. Title of the Thesis Collection

II. Scope of Paper Submission

1. Materials category:

High-strength metallic materials; cold/heat-formed materials; cold/heat-formed mold materials; heat-formed coatings; environmentally friendly auxiliary materials (such as lubricants and release agents)

2. Forming Technology Category:

Rolling forming technology; Extrusion/drawing forming technology; Stamping forming technology; Rolling forming technology; Composite material forming technology; Hot air expansion forming technology; Connection and welding forming technology; Multi-component integrated design and forming; Multi-material composite and forming technology; Surface treatment technology; Special forming technology

3. Process and Equipment Category:

Laser processing technology and equipment; shot blasting process and equipment; forming production line technology and equipment; forming mold design and manufacturing; nitrogen spring design, manufacturing and application

III. Requirements for Thesis Writing

1. Submissions must be original, unpublished works and cannot be submitted simultaneously to other publications. To ensure the papers originality, scientific rigor, innovation, and compliance, authors must conduct independent plagiarism checks and submit corresponding reports, with a plagiarism rate not exceeding 20% and an AIGC detection ratio not exceeding 30%. Papers accepted for this conference may be recommended for publication in journals such as the Journal of Iron and Steel Research and Mechanical Engineering Materials (after journal review). For detailed requirements, please refer to the official website.

2. A paper should focus on a single theme. Writing requirements include: a clear theme, logical structure, sound technical approach, reliable theoretical basis, accurate tables, formulas, and data, and high-quality images.

3. The full text of the paper must be structurally complete and strictly formatted according to the template provided by the conference (either Chinese or English, as specified in Attachments 1 and 2). Each paper must be no more than 5 pages in length. For papers up to 5 pages, a submission fee of RMB 3,000 or USD 500 per paper will be charged; for papers exceeding 5 pages, a page fee of RMB 500 or USD 65 per page will apply. For student authors: RMB 2,500 or USD 350 per person.

4. In compliance with the provisions of laws and regulations such as the Law of the Peoples Republic of China on Guarding State Secrets and the National Security Law of the Peoples Republic of China, improper expressions involving military secrets, information on national strategic mineral resource reserves, undisclosed scientific research data, or politically sensitive content are strictly prohibited.

5. Comply with national news and publishing laws, regulations, and standards; cite references in accordance with the national standard "Information and Documentation: Rules for Bibliographic Description" (GB/T 7714—2025), and avoid situations specified in the "Academic Publishing Standards: Definition of Academic Misconduct in Journals" (CY/T 174—2019).

6. For papers co-authored by multiple individuals, the contributor must notify all authors to obtain their informed consent regarding the paper title, authorship order, publication details, and CNKI reprints.

7. The author assumes full responsibility for the content. The article is not exempt from liability regardless of whether it is published.

V. Submission Method and Other Notes

1. All speakers presenting at academic conferences must submit the full text of their presentations.

2. The collection of papers will be published by Northeastern University Press and reprinted and indexed by China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI).

3. Submission method: Send your submission via email to ICHSU2026@163.com. Please include the subject line "Submission to ICHSU2026" in your email; failure to do so may result in delayed processing.

4. Each submitted paper requires a publication fee of RMB 3,000 per article; no additional registration fee will be charged (for any excess fees, refer to Article 4 of Section III: Paper Writing Requirements). The second author shall pay a registration fee of RMB 1,000 per person for conference attendance.

The registration fee covers conference-related expenses including the conference proceedings, materials, tea breaks, and buffet (transportation and accommodation costs are to be borne by the participant).
